The Green Gym (regd TM) is a scheme that inspires you to improve your health and the environment at the same time. It offers you the opportunity to 'work out' in the open air through local practical conservation work.

Going to gyms and sports centres doesn't appeal to everyone. Green Gym is a great alternative. It helps people of all ages to be physically active by providing a regular programme of outdoor activities as well as training and development in new skills

Increasing physical activity and being out of doors in green space also has proven benefits for mental health, helping to reduce stress and overcome depression.

We are always pleased to see new members. Activities are taken at your own pace, but there is always something to get your heart and muscles working. Membership of Horsham Green Gym is free.

You are welcome to attend any or all of our tasks.

What should I wear? You should wear old clothes and sturdy shoes or boots (not trainers). We provide gloves, tools and refreshments.

It's recommended to have an anti-tetanus booster every ten years. Is yours current?

Please let us know before you come for the first time so that we can look out for you. Mobile phone numbers are shown on the printed programme which we will send to you on request. Click to see details of how to Contact Us.
