TUESDAY – The fringe area where the thick woods and open heathland meet outside the top of Middle Heath enclosure has become very tightly packed. We will group together and act like a Woolly Mammoth, crashing through and creating some thinner “gappier” patches. This will be a mixture of tooled approaches. We will stack the arisings in a couple of dead hedge sections to allow them to slowly rot down – locking in lots of carbon (a good thing).
