Thursday – Last year we planted a swathe of Daffodils as part of the wildflower planting scheme around this updated recreation ground. Today the job is to create a mirrored area on the opposite side of the path. The turf will first need to be lifted, bulbs laid out evenly yet randomly, and then the fun part of trying to put the turf jigsaw back together!
Meeting point: Manor Fields RH13 6SD (off Harwood Road or Crawley Road). There is a very small car park but otherwise it will be roadside parking. The Roffey 98 Metrobus stop at “Chesterton Court” is very close.
