Thursday – There is a large amount of cut Holly to be stacked in to a couple of dead-hedge sections near to the play area (actually just inside the Leechpool section of the woodland). Holly has been thinned in this area to increase the light getting in to the woodland floor and hopefully increase floral species diversity by reducing the density of the fast growing holly, in the absence of mega-beasts such as Woolly mammoth and Tarpan (Eurasian wild horse) that would have once kept the habitat in check.
Meeting point: Owlbeech Way play area car park
