Tuesday – There is a bridge to repair down in the ghyll stream, some pathways to give a little trim and letting your inner rootling pig out by turf stripping some areas of the heathland and woodland edge. Pigs and wild boar do an important job of turning patches of soil over in their foraging for underground food, this in turn bring seeds to the surface ready for germination in the spring and creates little nooks and crannies for small things to overwinter in, we don’t get many bore visiting Owlbeech currently so we will have to get our noses hands dirty!
Meeting Point: Owlbeech Way car park, RH13 6AW by the play area.
