Historic Farm
A farm since before 1086, Chesworth is a 90 acre paradise of wild grassland and ancient hedgerow. It is also where the young Catherine Howard, who became one of Henry VIII’s unfortunate wives, once lived.
Free, and open to the public by foot, cycle or horseback, all year round, the farm borders the River Arun. Part of the Horsham Riverside Walk and also the Horsham to Southwater cycle route (Pedlars Way) pass through the farm.
You may find more information from the Friends of Chesworth Farm and the website of Horsham District Council.
