Brown Hairstreak butterfly Copyright: Neil Hulme
We have worked at this site several times. We have made glades and reduced the amount of scrub and other growth which tries to shade out the habitat of the Brown Hairstreak butterfly.
Several members have shown interest in visiting the site later in the year to find out how much help our work may have been in increasing the population of that particular butterfly.
David Bridges organises a weekly walk of the Tillets Lane site from April to September weather permitting. Details of the walks are emailed a day or two in advance each week, when he expects the weather to be favourable. If you email your own details to David at email@example.com (please copy and paste), he will add you to his e-mailing list.
